BHUJANGASANA-COBRA POSE
 
The Cobra Pose is one of the Basic and Beginner Class poses. Benefits include strenthening the upper back, toning the nervous system, increasing the flexibility of the spine as well as massaging internal organs in the abdomen.

PASCHIMOTANAASANA  -  THE FULL FORWARD BEND
 
Forward bending poses are poses of surrender. Surrender to the body, to the inner Self. the Full Forward Bend stretches the entire back of the body, tones the abdominal organs, improves digestion, stretches the thoracic spine and intercoastal muscles of the ribs.
FOCUS IS THE LOWER BACK AND THE ABDOMEN

SARVANGAASANA-SHOULDER STAND

Shoulder Stand, nicknamed "the Queen of Poses", benefits the entire body. It puts pressure on the thyroid gland, releasing thyroxin into the blood stream. It rests the legs and veins, drains blood from the digestive organs and rests the heart, reverses gravity on the entire body stimulating all organs and systems, centralizes the blood in the spinal column and nerves rooted in the spine, giving them nourishment.
FOCUS IS THE THYROID AND PARATHYROID GLANDS AT THE BASE OF THE THROAT
