MISSION STATEMENT:
To create a peaceful place in which to provide a traditional style Yoga for everyone, including those with special needs, keeping the classes small, with individual attention and in an intimate atmosphere.

Caryl practices and teaches Integral Yoga. Integral Yoga was founded by Swami Satchidananda. He left his earthly body in August of 2002 while attending a peace conference in India. Active until this time, he was 87.

"WHAT IS INTEGRAL YOGA? Integral Yoga is a combination of specific methods designed to develop every aspect of the individual: physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. It is a scientific system which integrates the various branches of Yoga in order to bring about a complete and harmonious development of the individual."
from Integral Yoga Hatha by Yogiraj Sri Swami Satchidananda

INTEGRAL YOGA, brought to the United States in 1964 by Swami Satchidananda (a native of India) is called "The gentle Yoga." The asanas are done slowly and without strain. There is no competition in Yoga. The full benefit can be realized even if your body limits your practice of the asanas.

Hatha, when practiced routinely, can increase our ability to focus, improve blood circulation, stimulate the nervous system, enhance flexibility and promote relaxation. These are only some of the benefits you can enjoy.
